Program description

Text Della Dinner Plans is a recurring automated text message program for subscribers of Text Della, a subscription meal-planning service. Subscribers receive their own weekly dinner menu, a link to their grocery list, and a recipe on weeknights, along with occasional account and service messages.

Messages are sent only to subscribers who provided their mobile number and opted in through the account setup form described below. Messages go to the mobile number the subscriber provides, and may be delivered over SMS, MMS, or another text-messaging channel supported by their carrier and device. We never message anyone who has not opted in, and we never send third-party, affiliate, or lead-generation content.

How subscribers opt in

   Create an account

   A visitor signs up at textdella.com/signup with their name, email, and password, and agrees to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. No phone number is collected at this step, and no text messages are sent.

   Start the subscription

   The subscriber chooses a plan and enters payment details through Stripe to begin a free trial. No phone number is collected at this step either, and payment completes before the subscriber is ever asked about text messages.

   Enter a mobile number and check the consent box

   On the first step of account setup, the subscriber enters their own US mobile number and checks an unchecked-by-default box agreeing to receive automated texts. The consent box is separate from the Terms and Privacy agreement, and it is never pre-checked.

   Consent is optional and can be skipped

   The box is labelled optional, and account setup completes whether or not it is checked. A subscriber who skips it receives no text messages at all: their weekly plan, grocery list and recipes are shown on their dashboard instead. Consent is not bundled into any other agreement and is not a condition of purchase or of using the service.

   It can be turned on or off at any time

   Text messages can be switched on or off whenever the subscriber likes, from the Account page. Turning them on records a fresh consent event; turning them off stops every message immediately, exactly as replying STOP does.

   Consent is recorded

   Each consent event is written server-side to a consent log with a timestamp, IP address, and user agent. The same consent box appears again whenever a subscriber changes their phone number, so consent always attaches to the number actually receiving messages.

The opt-in form

This is the consent step of the Text Della account setup form, reproduced here exactly as a subscriber sees it. The consent text below is rendered from the same source module the live form uses, so it is identical by construction rather than by copying.

Message frequency and cost

About 7 messages per week while you have an active plan: one weekly menu, one grocery list, and one recipe each weeknight. You will also get a reply to any message you send us. Frequency varies if you skip a week.

Message and data rates may apply. Text Della does not charge for text messages; any charges come from the subscriber's own mobile carrier plan.

How to get help or unsubscribe

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. Reply START to resubscribe, or HELP for help and support information. STOP, START, and HELP are always honored and are never rate limited.

Subscribers can also turn texts off at any time from their account settings, or email support@textdella.com.

Sheet-Pan Chicken Fajitas (25 min)
I picked this because it's quick on a busy night and it's kid-friendly.

- Chicken breast: 1.5 lb
- Bell peppers: 3
- Yellow onion: 1
- Fajita seasoning: 2 tbsp

1. Heat oven to 425F.
2. Toss chicken and vegetables with seasoning on a sheet pan.
3. Roast 20 minutes, tossing once.
